About Me

I am a PhD Candidate at American University's School of International Service and a Lecturer at George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs. My research lies at the juncture of international relations and comparative politics. In my dissertation, I explore the role of transnational social networks in the mobilization, normalization, and success of populist radical right movements in Europe and the United States. I also write about social theory, philosophy of science, and their applications to international studies.

My research has been published in International Studies Quarterly and my public commentary has appeared in Foreign Policy, Public Seminar, and Duck of Minerva.

I’ve taught in two top ten International Relations programs—at American University and George Washington University. In addition, I was a volunteer instructor in Georgetown University’s Prison Scholars Program.
